With reference to the declaration of state of emergency in Thailand on 25 March 2020 concerning the spread of Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand issues travel advisory to passengers planning to enter Thailand including that Passengers or persons who are non-Thai nationals with work permit or who have been granted permission from Thai government agencies to work in Thailand shall be permitted to enter Thailand through international airport. This has been effective from 26 March 2020.

The Royal Thai Embassy, therefore, suspends the reception of the normal visa applications from the non-Thai nationals who do not have the work permit or permission form Thai government agencies to work in Thailand as of today (27 March 2020) until further notice.
