LEGALIZATION SERVICE

 

Please have the following documents ready:

1.  The applicant must fill in the Legalization Application Form and enclose a copy of the applicant’s passport for reference.Click here to download the form

 If a third party is applying for legalization services, he/she must show the original of the power of attorney signed by the interested party, as well as his/her ID card or passport.

2. Original documents 
- Original documents must be prior certified by a Notary public of Finland/Estonia, and from the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.
- If a document is not in English. The original document must be translated into English, and both original document and its translation must bind/sewn together (MUST NOT separate into two documents).
After that, the entire document has to submit and be notarized by a Notary public of Finland or Estonia, then, submit to the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia for the Ministry's authorization.

3. Fee of 15 euros/documents. After the Embassy approves your application, you will be contacted by email for a fee payment (bank transfer). 

 

Remarks : The applicant who wishes to apply for legalization by post, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of the documents.
