On 5 December the Royal Thai Embassy, Helsinki together with the Thai Community in Helsinki hosted a reception and a ceremony to pay respedt to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on the occasion of the 85th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty at Kulturhuset Garden, Helskinki. 

The reception was attended by diplomatic representatives in Helsiki as well as dignitaries for the Finnish Government and private sectors.  It was an hounour to welcome H.E. Mr. Pertti Tostila, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to the reception.  

Around 200 Thais living in Finland also attended the ceremony to pay homage for the His Majesty the King.  Candles were lit to symbolise His Majesty's prosities and the Royal Anthem was sung together.
