On 9 May 2017, His Excellency Mr. Nopporn Adchariyavanich, Ambassador of Thailand to Finland, hosted a luncheon for the participants of the “4th e-Government for Chief Executive Program”

(“e-GCEO”). The participants took a study visit to the units of Finnish and Estonian governments in charge of information technology (IT) and e-Government services as it is a part of the program.

The “e-GCEO” is arranged by the Electronic Government Agency (EGA) of Thailand with an aim to enhance knowledge and understanding of the Thai officials at the Executive level on IT. Thus, the participants are expected to use and implement the said knowledge and understanding in their agencies in order to integrate the works among Thai government agencies.

On this occasion, Ambassador Adchariyavanich also discussed with the participants and Executive officers of the EGA about the technology and innovation of Finland that might be used to support the implementation of “Thailand 4.0” policy i.e. basic education system, bio economy, clean technology and radio technology.
