Nurturing Thai Startups Towards European Union Market Standards

The Royal Thai Embassy in Helsinki, in Collaboration with the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), organized a practical training program to enhance the capabilities of Thai startup companies, raise their standards, and prepare them to enter the European Union market. The program was delivered with the support of Garage48 and Enterprise Estonia, which contributed to the development of the curriculum, the formulation of challenges, and the assessment of participants' standards.
The program was divided into two phases. The first phase consisted of online training held from 14–18 September 2026, aimed at familiarizing participants with the program, introducing approaches to Entering the European market, and facilitating an exchange of knowledge on AI innovation in the startup sector. This was followed by an in-depth practical workshop held at the Digital Economy Promotion Agency from 21–25 September 2026, focusing on problem analysis and solutions, developing company profiles for presentation, and testing participants' pitches or planning their long-term market expansion strategies. A total of 15 Thai startup companies participated throughout the training program.
On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy extends its sincere appreciation to the Digital Economy Promotion Agency for its valuable cooperation in organizing this training program.
