On 29 August 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Helsinki organized a seminar entitled “Preparation for the Finnish Labour Market” at Meeting Park DOMUS in Helsinki. The seminar aimed to enhance the knowledge and preparedness of Thai nationals in entering the labour market, developing their skills, and planning their careers and lives in Finland.

On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Worawoot Pongprapapant, Ambassador of Thailand to Finland, delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the importance of strengthening knowledge, skills, and adaptability to enable Thai nationals to become self-reliant, make effective use of opportunities and available services in Finland, and build long-term security for themselves and their families. The Embassy stands ready to support the Thai community and facilitate access to useful information and resources.

During the seminar, participants learned about Finland’s employment support services and career development opportunities, and exchanged experiences with Thai speakers from diverse professional backgrounds, including elderly care, hospital services, career transition, and entrepreneurship.
