Update on Thailand inbound travel measures. The first phase will be effective on 1 April 2021 at 00.01 hrs. (Thailand local time)
1. the quarantine period will be reduced from 14 days to 10 days, and travellers will be tested for COVID-19 twice during the quarantine. The tests will be conducted during the 3rd-5th day and 9th-10th day of the quarantine.
***Note***
The shortened quarantine period is only possible for those who do not travel from countries with a record of new virus variants. The countries’ list would be announced shortly.
2. Travellers are allowed to undertake activities outside of their rooms under certain conditions such as using the gym or the swimming pool, exercising outdoors, and ordering food and goods from outside.
3. For foreign-nationals to enter Thailand, a RT-PCR test (negative) result issued no more than 72 hours prior to boarding remains mandatory but a fit to fly certificate will no longer be required.
4.For Thai nationals, either a fit to fly or a RT-PCR test result no more than 72 hours before boarding could be presented.
